Powder coating  is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder may be athermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. With hundreds of colours to choose from powder coating is the obvious choice.

Is it durable?

Powder Coating is economical, longest lasting, and most color-durable quality finishing available on virtually any type of metal. Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes. Color selection is virtually unlimited with flat, satin, gloss, high gloss finishes available. Color's stay bright and vibrant longer. Texture selections range from smooth surfaces to wrinkled or matte finishes, and rough textures designed for hiding surface imperfections.
